DAVID ZANDER

A lifetime artist and woodworker, I grew up in a converted barn in North Salem, NY surrounded by orchards, fields and centuries old barns, instilling in me an early love of old wood and the authentic patina of age. Pursuing a fine arts education at Bard Collage and SUNY Purchase, I discovered the woodshop... and haven't left since.

Zander Woodworks, LLC is the culmination of many years of experience designing and building hundreds of pieces out of a variety of materials. If I had to name my style, it would be "modern rustic".

I currently live in South Salem NY.  For fun, I like to ride my 1976 BMW motorcycle, snowboard, mow my lawn and play with my kids. Life is good.
